Kiehl's has once again proven why they are such a fantastic company, with strong ties to the community, getting behind yet another great cause
Kiel's believes in giving back so they've partnered with the Australian Children's Music Foundation (ACMF), an organisation that brings music into the lives of children who are disadvantaged and living in remote areas of Australia.
Starting today, 26 June, and running for six weeks, Kiehl's are featuring a
Limited Edition label on their number one best selling product, the Ultra Facial Cream. For the six weeks, $2 from every limited edition product sold will be donated to the Australian Children's Music Foundation.
The ACMF has been running since 2002 when it was founded by Don Spencer OAM, to specifically address the needs of children deprived of music. The charity provides musical instruments and music lessons to many many children who are disadvantaged, some in Indigenous schools, juvenile justice centres, hospitals and community centres all over Australia.
Research conducted has proven how important music is in the lives of children, yet so many children don't have access to enjoy music. Today 75% of public schools do not have a specialist music teacher.
Kiehl's has partnered with one of the 21st century's most well respected bands, The Preatures. This marks the beginning of a hugely important relationship between the ACMF, Kiehl's and The Preatures. Both The Preatures and Kiehl's will be engaging in awareness raising activities for this fantastic organisation.
The Preatures, who first hit the Australian music scene in 2011, have bought Australian talent to the world. The lineup consists of Isabella Manfredi (lead vocals), Jack Moffitt (guitar), Thomas Champion (bass) and Luke Davidson (drums).
The band are a rock n' roll quartet and are regulars on both Australian and international touring circuits. They've performed to a packed audience at Coachella, had rave reviews for their debut album, been voted Band of the Year by GQ and this year they join an amazing lineup of musical talent at Byron Bays (always packed out) Splendour in the Grass.
As well as featuring on Kiehl's limited edition Ultra Facial Cream, The Preatures will be helping to spread the word about the Australian Children's Music Foundation and the importance of music in the lives of Aussie children.
The Kiehl's Limited Edition Ultra Facial Cream is on sale as of today, featuring both the ACMF and The Preatures, and will be sold for a limited period of six weeks. $2 from every product sold will be going straight to the ACMF to help with their amazing work.
I've always been a huge fan of Kiehl's and their products, this just makes me more impressed!
