I've got an exciting new product to share with you today.

Magpie Beauty kindly sent me their brand new VIP Collection for review and O.M.G. they are just beautiful.  The VIP Collection launches at Beauty UK on 22nd and 23rd of May in Birmingham.  They will also be available to purchase online from 7.00pm on 23rd of May.

The four colours in the collection are:

Suzie - Light gold holographic

Peaches - Rose gold holographic

Tiffany - Turquoise holograpic

Millie - Pink holographic

The glitters differ slightly from others carried by Magpie Beauty.  The VIP Collection have different size particles, giving the glitter that extra bling!

The glitters are even more gorgeous in real life.  It's so hard to capture the sparkle in a photo or video, but trust me, you won't be disappointed with these beauties. 

The applicator brush is back in stock so go grab one if you've been waiting.  I tried the applicator brush for the first time today and I am replacing my old tatty brush immediately... in fact it's already been laid to rest in the rubbish bin.   

The applicator brush applies the glitters beautifully and I found it much easier than the old brush I had been using.  I'm going to have a go at applying pigments with it and I will report back soon.

I've got a new video up on my YouTube channel featuring the brand new Collector Plate Holder from MoYou London.

This is a gorgeous zipped folder that contains enough space for 54 places, plus six side pockets for extra storage.  The folder itself is silkscreen printed with a beautiful fun design, has a high quality zip and will sit perfectly on a shelf.

Caribbean Collection | Gel II

I've got a new video up on my YouTube channel featuring the lovely new Caribbean Collection from Gel II.  In the video, I show each colour, along with a selection of similar colours from the shades I already owned.

The colours are gorgeous and vibrant, perfect for Spring and Summer.

The shade names are:

G206 Floral Flirtation
G207 Mango Tango
G208 Tropical Craze
G209 Caribbean Vibe
G210 Flora Bora
G211 Purple Twilight

Each shade is nicely pigmented and you get a good opacity with two coats.

There are a couple of significant changes with this collection.  The first being a label change.  The old labels were predominantly black with a band of colour at the bottom.  The new labels are the same colour as the shades in the bottle, with the name of the colour in a white font across a small black band in the middle of the label.

The other more significant change is the cure time.  Each colour coat needs to be cured for 50 seconds, rather than the original 30 seconds.  This change relates to this collection, and all colours going forward.

Pastel Collection | Cuccio Colour Veneer

I've got a new video up on my YouTube channel showing you the gorgeous Pastel Collection from Cuccio.

The bottles are 13ml and matte black with a little heart cutout on the front so you can see exactly what colour is inside.  Cuccio is a professional only brand, so if you are after something for DIY nails, then check out some of my other non-professional brand videos.

The pastel collection consists of six creme shades and they are just beautiful.  The consistency of the product is quite thin and you get a good opacity with two coats.

Cuccio Colour Veneer is a lovely product to use and after this swatch video, stay tuned for some nail art tutorials using each shade.

Bundle Monster Cali Dreamin' Gel Polish & Matte Top Coat

I've got a new video up on my YouTube channel that features the gorgeous Cali Dreamin' gel polish collection from Bundle Monster.  These colours are just stunning.

I think this is by far the nicest collection yet to come from Bundle Monster and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

I'm also road testing their matte gel top coat because I thought it would look stunning over the top of such lovely bright colours.  I wasn't disappointed.  I'm also currently wearing the matte gel top coat over my own nails and it's wearing really well.

I really love the products from Bundle Monster.   Not only do they continuously have great new releases at a very affordable price, they are a non-professional brand, so anyone can use them.  But they wear as well (and remove) as any professional brand I've used.

I've got two lovely sets of Bundle Monster stamping plates to swatch so stay tuned for the videos on those coming soon.  No doubt I will be using the Cali Dreamin' colours as a base to stamp over.

I've got a new video up on my YouTube channel featuring some gorgeous new plates from the Suki Collection by MoYou London.

I've stamped with one of my all time favourite stampers, the XL Gold Stamper, from Fab Ur Nails and black stamping polish from Nail Stamping Queen.

MoYou London Glitter Swatches

I've got a new video up on my YouTube channel featuring some beautiful glitters from MoYou London.

I have seventeen out of a range of 22 glitters and they are lovely.  They pots are heavy glass with a screw off lid and a cap inside the lid for extra protection.  Each pot contains 5mls of fine grade glitter, with a few in larger hexagonal glitters and mylar pieces.

I found application over the tacky layer of gel polish extremely easy and the colour range is great.

Each glitter retails for £2.50 which I believe is a great price.

Smith & Cult Polish Review & Swatches

I've been road testing the Smith & Cult nail polishes for quite a few months now and I can say they are just fantastic.

The bottles are gorgeous and the colour range is chic and sophisticated.

These polishes are also 'five free', so they don't contain any Dibutyl, Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin or Camphor.  So these polishes are great for your nails.

I've got eight colours from the range, along with the base and top coat, and I can honestly say that these polishes rival any professional brand that I currently use.  The colours are pigmented, apply beautifully and don't chip.

I've done a swatch video on my YouTube channel to show off these beautiful colours, and I've also shown how to do a super simple but very effective feature nail using the glitter polishes in the range.

Hey everyone,

I've got the second part of the Holiday Plates from Bundle Monster up on my YouTube channel.  These plates are all about Autumn and if you're in the States, Thanksgiving.  Gorgeous designs that are well etched and easy to use.

I've done the stamping with some polishes from Hit The Bottle, who have an amazing range of colours to choose from and some gorgeous colours that are perfect to create Autumnal nail art.

I've used a random marshmallow stamper from eBay and I change over half way through the video to my B.loves Plates stamper so you can see the stamping a little better.

I've got some great new goodies in from Bundle Monster over the last week that I wanted to share with you.  I have the Nirvana gel polishes, which are stunning glitter polishes that add sparkle to any set of nails, and the new Holiday plates arrived.  Unfortunately due to a hick-up with Australia Post (nothing to do with Bundle Monster) they arrived too late to get up before Halloween but I wanted to share with you anyway because I think you can have cool spooky nails whenever you want.

Also, half the Holiday collection is for Fall and Thanksgiving and they are just gorgeous.

B.Loves Stamping Polishes, Plates & Stamper

Hey everyone,

I got a huge box of goodies from B.Loves this morning and I couldn't wait to have a play.

OMG the stamping polishes are divine!  If you are an avid stamper you definitely need these in your life.  They stamp great over white and amazingly over black, so they will be great over any colour you want to use.

I'm showing all the B.Loves stamping plates in this video, and particularly the new B.04 Leaves of Happiness - the newest plate in the series, which is full of gorgeous leaf images.

I've also got a great stamper I am using for the first time, and I really like it!

Magpie Beauty Dusts Review

Hey everyone,

I've got a review up on my YouTube channel of the original Magpie Beauty Dusts.  There are nine in total and the are just gorgeous.

They are cosmetic grade glitter dusts and they are ultra, ultra fine.  I just love these and my particular favourite is Tiara.  It's just stunning and even though it's a silver dust, it changes colour in the light from silver to gold to rose gold.  

As I mentioned in the video, I have a special event coming up later this month and Tiara is PERFECT for my nails so I will film a video when I have more of a firm idea of what I am doing.

Moroccan Nail Art Using Snail Vinyls

Hey everyone,

Just a quick tutorial with a Moroccan theme.  I've had these Snail Vinyls put away in a 'safe place' for several months.  Only thing is I forgot where the 'safe place' was!  BUT I found them again so I decided to do a Moroccan nail art tutorial as a gorgeous friend of mine has just been there and I was inspire by some of his amazing photography.

Very easy to do and super effective.  I only had a slight issue with removing all the little pieces from the actual vinyl.  They wanted to come away with the actual stencil part.  Once I had that sorted, everything was easy.

The Magpie Beauty pigments are gorgeous and so lovely to apply.  I will have a full review video of these on my channel very soon.
