I've got a new video up on my YouTube channel featuring the Florality 2 stamping plate by Moyra.
Now I was getting these plates sent over from Ireland but it takes AGES and I can't be bothered to wait six weeks. So after a little bit of searching, I've found that Beautometry stock Moyra. They're much quicker shipping-wise and they have a good stock available.
They also stock other great brands of plates, great stamping polishes, including Hit The Bottle and other goodies.
The plate is just gorgeous but I did find a few of the images a little tricky to pick up this time. I've not found this previously with any of the Moyra plates but this one is not etched as well as it could be. This is not Moyra's issue. It's down to the manufacturer.
Not a major issue though as I managed to pick up all the images after trying a few different stampers.
The designs on this plate are lovely and original. I love the fact that they are slightly larger images, measuring 2cm by 2.4cm catering for longer nails.
I've listed all the products I used in the description bar below the video. I also have a few more Moyra plates on the way to me from Beautometry so once they arrive I'll do some more swatching for you.
Enjoy,

Moyra Ornaments Stamping Plate Swatches
Thursday, 7 July 2016
I've got a new stamping video up on my YouTube channel and it's part five in my Moyra stamping plate series.
Since I started the series I've been trying to find a consistent supplier that has plates in stock and it's proving a little difficult but I've finally found two suppliers that have a good stock of the plates that can ship to me in Australia and also elsewhere in the world. There's nothing more frustrating to me than desperately wanting to order and not finding a supplier.
I highly recommend the two following companies for the Moyra plates. This doesn't mean there are no other companies that stock them, it just means these are the ones I found to have good stock and I am comfortable purchasing from:
Beautometry: http://www.beautometry.com
Beautometry are based in the USA and have a great range of the Moyra plates, they also have a really good selection of other plates, nail art accessories and polishes, including the very sought after Esmaltes da Kelly.
Moyra Ireland: http://www.moyrashop.ie
This is the first place I purchased Moyra plates and although the postage took FOREVER (not their fault obviously) it was well worth the wait.
The plate itself is gorgeous, as are all Moyra plates. The images are slightly larger than standard images, measuring 2cm by 2.4cm on a plate that is the same size as my Dixie Plates or ÜberChic Beauty.
I adore using the Moyra plates. They're super well etched, beautifully designed down to the cover art and I literally haven't found a design I don't like. They're also well priced - on par with ÜberChic Beauty or B.loves Plates.
Can't get enough of these. I've got one more plate to show you in the series so far BUT I may have placed a sneaky order with Beautometry for a few more so I'll show you those as soon as they arrive.
I've listed all the products I used in the description bar below the video.

Moyra Sweet Dreams Stamping Swatches
Sunday, 26 June 2016
I've just uploaded Part 4 of my Moyra stamping plate series up on my YouTube channel.
This video features the gorgeous Sweet Dreams plate. It's a mix of florals, shapes and cute coffee-related images.
As I've said before, the plate itself is 14.5cm by 9.5cm in size, with the individual images 2cm by 2.4cm, so larger than some of the other plates of that size.
The images are lovely, a real pleasure to use. They are consistently coming up with great designs that are nicely etched and I love the fact that they are a little larger than the standard plates of this size, catering for longer nails.
I've used Papaya Whip from Bundle Monster as my base gel polish to stamp over. I've used my trusty Fab Ur Nails stamper and the gorgeous Sea what I green stamping polish from Hit The Bottle.
LOVE this plate and it's definitely something I'd suggest you need in your collection :-)
I've listed all the products I used in the description bar below the video.

CND Creative Play Polishes | Do They Stamp?
Tuesday, 14 June 2016
I've got a new video up on my YouTube featuring three polishes from CND's Creative Play collection.
I have Black + Forth, Let's Go Antiquing and Polish My Act to try out.
For me a polish needs to be opaque, stamp easily, pick up with any stamper and stamp any image from any plate without me having to faff around trying out different plate and stamper combinations.
I am pleased to say that these polishes are great. The black is not as opaque as I would like in a black stamping polish but the gold and silver are perfect. Super opaque, they picked up with each stamper I used and stamped every image perfectly.
To give you an idea of how you can expect them to stamp, I used three stampers:
* My own Clear Dixie Stamper
* Fab Ur Nails XL Stamper
* Marshmallow Stamper I purchased on eBay

Moyra Damask Drapery Plate Review & Swatches
Friday, 27 May 2016
I've got the second video in my Moyra stamping plate series. This one is showing off the gorgeous Damask Drapery plate.
Each of the Moyra plates I have measures 14.5cm by 9.5cm and unlike most plates of this size, the images themselves are larger than standard, measuring 2cm by 2.4cm. This is great if you have slightly longer nails.
The images are just beautiful on this plate. They really do remind me of fine drapery that I'd expect to find in a French palace (I have a good imagination haha).
The plates are well etched, the images are unique and I highly recommend you get your hands on some of these plates if you are looking to add something new to your collection.
I stamped over a base of Indigo Indio from the Cali Dreamin' collection by Bundle Monster. They do some gorgeous gel polishes and they're even better because they're a non-professional brand, so perfect if you like to do your nails at home.
I used Chromeo stamping polish from Hit The Bottle and stamped with my trusty Fab Ur Nails stamper.
I've listed all the products I used in the description bar below the video.

Wedding Season Acrylic Plate | Cici&Sisi
Sunday, 22 May 2016
I've got a new video up on my YouTube channel featuring a brand of plate that I haven't tried before.
Introducing Wedding Season 1 and Wedding Season 2 from Cici&Sisi.
I have a press sample plate so I have all the images on the one plate but when you purchase, the plate has been split into two slightly smaller plates.
Not only is the brand new to me, the material that the plate is made of is new to me too. The plate is made from clear acrylic, making it lighter than your standard stainless steel stamping plate.
The images themselves are etched into the plate it's acetone resistant.
Perfect for weddings or beautiful delicate nail art, this plate is well etched and full of gorgeous designs. I found it very easy to stamp with and easy to clean. Definitely a plate you need to add to your collection.
I've linked all the products used, in the description bar below the video.

I've got a new video up on my YouTube channel featuring a gorgeous set of stamping plates that have been designed by five well known nail bloggers and Bundle Monster. So this set of plates is called the Blogger Collaboration Set 2.
I think it's a great idea that a company has collaborated with five great nail bloggers to come up with some super fun plates.
As usual the plates are well etched and stamp beautifully.

***NEW*** Über Chic Beauty Set 9 Stamping Swatches
Monday, 16 May 2016
YAY don't you love it when the postman brings you nail goodies first thing on a Monday morning!
I got a delivery from ÜberChic Beauty and I always get excited when the lovely Brittany sends me a parcel. Today I received the brand new Set 9, along with a couple of other goodies that I will show in another video.
Oh my goodness, what gorgeous plates - not that I expected anything less than that. There are some super cute Summer appropriate images, along with some fun patterns and of course, the gorgeous florals that I always love to see on ÜberChic plates.
These plates are always packed with gorgeous, unique images that are well etched and stamp perfectly every time you use them.
If you are a beginner or expert you will love using these images as much as I do. Super easy to use and just gorgeous on your nails.
I've used quite a few products in this video so I've linked them all in the description bar below the video.

Moyra Fabric Texture Stamping Plate
Wednesday, 11 May 2016
This is a new brand to me and they have some really beautiful plate designs. Obviously this one is all sort of different fabrics.
The plates are 14.5cm by 9.5cm, the same size as Über Chic Beauty and B.loves Plates, and the Moyra plates have 20 images on them. They've managed to add some more images, and also make them larger, by making the space between each image slightly smaller.
The images are larger (around the size of a standard Australian postage stamp) and great if you have longer nails.
The images are well etched and easy to stamp. The plates also come in gorgeous colourful sleeves, to protect the plate from scratching.
I have six plates in total so I will review each one individually.
I believe there are a couple of suppliers in the UK who I can highly recommend. The first being Rainbow Connection and the second being Susan's Nail Store. Both are highly reputable and I have several friends who order from both.
I should point out here, I will not recommend a supplier I do not have faith in. I don't want to recommend someone to you that I wouldn't buy from myself.
I've used a base of several gel polish colours from several brands and stamped with my trusty Fab Ur Nails XL gold stamper and Snowed In from Hit The Bottle.
All products used are listed in the description bar below the video.

***NEW*** Hit The Bottle Stamping Polish Swatches
Monday, 2 May 2016
New video up on my YouTube channel where I'm showing you the latest ten gorgeous stamping polishes to be released by Hit The Bottle.
Hit The Bottle is an indie brand of stamping polish, proudly made in Australia. Michelle, the owner of Hit The Bottle, has done a fantastic job of coming up with some lovely colours with super cute names. Not only are the colours just beautiful, they stamp perfectly over black... or whatever colour you want to use.
The polishes are 5 free and there's no overpowering odour with these stamping polishes. Check out the Hit The Bottle store for a full range of colours and check out the other goodies while you're there.
I've listed all the products used in the description bar below the video.

***NEW*** Pro Plate Swatches | MoYou London
Thursday, 28 April 2016
I've got a new video up on my YouTube channel featuring the gorgeous new Pro Plates from MoYou London. I adore these - particularly plate 25 - and highly recommend adding these to your collection.
I've been a little bit obsessed with matte top coat lately so I finished the nails with the matte top coat from Bundle Monster. I also used a couple of colours from the Cali Dreamin' gel polish collection, again from Bundle Monster.
The colours in this collection are bright and cheerful, show the stamping off beautifully and look simply stunning finished with the matte top coat.
As usual I stamped with my trusty XL Gold Stamper from Fab Ur Nails, using the black stamping polish from Nail Stamping Queen.
I think the swatches turned out great and I just love this combination of colours, images and top coat (in case you hadn't guessed already)!
All the products used are listed in the description bar below the video.

Flower Power Collab with Sarah R
Friday, 22 April 2016
YAY! It's that time again.
This time we're doing a Flower Power inspired theme and we've come up with two ideas at polar opposite ends of the spectrum.
Sarah has come up with some gorgeous bright nails that are super fun...
I just love them. Well done Sarah.
I've come up with some subtle nails...
I really need to snap out of it and live a little. I've developed a phobia of bright nails on me - for no reason whatsoever, I adore Sarah's nails - so I am going to endeavour to do some fun bright nails in our next collab.
If you are interested in how we created these nails, click the video below to find out. All products I've used are listed in the description bar below the video.

Love & Marriage 02 Stamping Plate | Uber Chic Beauty
Tuesday, 12 April 2016
I've got a new review video up on my YouTube channel of the Love & Marriage 02 plate from Uber Chic Beauty. This is a gorgeous plate if you are getting married.
As usual, Uber Chic Beauty have come up with some gorgeous, unique images that are well etched and stamp perfectly.
I've stamped over a base of gel polish from the 'I Do' collection by Bundle Monster. This collection is specifically designed with weddings in mind. I've used No Place Like Chrome and Penny Talk, both regular polishes from Essie, to stamp with. As you will be able to see in the video, these stamp like a dream.
I've used my favourite stamper from Fab Ur Nails to do the stamping. It picks up pretty much any polish and is consistently brilliant for stamping.
I've listed all the products I used in the description bar below the video.

MoYou London Your Magic Workshop & Stamping Polish Review
Tuesday, 15 March 2016
I've got a few lovely new products in from MoYou London so I've been testing them out today and I've done a YouTube video so you can see what you think.
I'm testing out the MoYou London Your Magic Workshop, which is a large silicone mat for your manicure table that's acetone and polish resistant and also has little nail sized shapes to guide you when creating different nail decals.
This mat is great and I could clean it up in seconds with a lint roller with no stains or mess left over.
I'm also testing out Black Knight and White Knight, two of MoYou London's stamping polishes.
Oh My Goodness!! They are lovely to stamp with. I used several of the MoYou London stamping plates to test the polish out and I stamped over some lovely bright colour pops. Each colour stamped perfectly each time and the polish is really nice and pigmented so you get a nice strong stamp.
I've listed all the products I used in the description bar below the video.

Christmas Nail Art Collab with Sarah R
Friday, 4 December 2015
Hey everyone,
It's that time of the month again - collaboration with Sarah R.
This month is our Christmas collab and although I love doing bright Christmas nails on my clients, I prefer something a little more toned down on me.
I've used the beautiful La Palm gel polish in Exposed as my base, Amelia glitter from Magpie Beauty for some sparkle and Uber Chic Beauty's new Christmas plate for stamping with Hit The Bottle stamping polish in Chromeo.
I love the subtle effect this look has and I am super happy with how they turned out. Here's the link to Sarah's video so go check it out and give it a big thumbs up and subscribe while you're there...
