ÜberChic Mandala Love Collab with Sarah R

I've got my latest collaboration video with the lovely Sarah R up on my YouTube channel.

This time we've chosen the brand new Über Mini Mandala Love plate from ÜberChic Beauty.

I chose a base of Gel II Floral Flirtation and Metallic.  I stamped using my Clear Dixie Stamper.  You can find this in my store.  I used black stamping polish from Nail Stamping Queen to add the gorgeous image I chose and finished off with the No Cleanse top coat from Gel II.

This is an absolutely gorgeous plate, as usual.  ÜberChic consistently come up with unique stamping images, they're well etched and a pleasure to use.

I added little silver dots over the black stamping with a small dotting tool, just to give the stamping a little extra pop of colour.  I'm super happy with how these turned out and I'm slowly getting back into using nice bright colours.

Caribbean Collection | Gel II

I've got a new video up on my YouTube channel featuring the lovely new Caribbean Collection from Gel II.  In the video, I show each colour, along with a selection of similar colours from the shades I already owned.

The colours are gorgeous and vibrant, perfect for Spring and Summer.

The shade names are:

G206 Floral Flirtation
G207 Mango Tango
G208 Tropical Craze
G209 Caribbean Vibe
G210 Flora Bora
G211 Purple Twilight

Each shade is nicely pigmented and you get a good opacity with two coats.

There are a couple of significant changes with this collection.  The first being a label change.  The old labels were predominantly black with a band of colour at the bottom.  The new labels are the same colour as the shades in the bottle, with the name of the colour in a white font across a small black band in the middle of the label.

The other more significant change is the cure time.  Each colour coat needs to be cured for 50 seconds, rather than the original 30 seconds.  This change relates to this collection, and all colours going forward.

Around The World Stamping Collab With Sarah R

I've got my first stamping collaboration of the year with the lovely Sarah R.  We decided on an 'Around The World' theme and both of us picked Japan.

I've done a super easy and subtle design using plates from Uber Chic Beauty and DRK Nails, one of my favourite stampers from Fab Ur Nails and polish from fantastic Aussie brand, Hit The Bottle.

I've used gel polish in the colour Peach Blossom, from the new Secret Garden collection, by Gel Two and I've added links to all the products I've used in the description bar below the video.

Secret Garden Collection | Gel II

I recently received the new Secret Garden collection of gel polishes from Gel II and I've been trying them out over the last couple of weeks.

The collection consists of six gorgeous colours, in the new and improved formula, that are perfect for those of you who are in the Northern hemisphere coming into Spring.

I've done a swatch and comparison video on my YouTube channel, after many requests from subscribers, so that you can see the new collection and how the colours compare to what you may already have in your salons.

Easy Lilac Spring Flower Nails

I'm back with another super quick and easy nail art tutorial using gel polish from Gel Two, glitter from Magpie Beauty, a gorgeous stamping plate from Uber Chic Beauty and stamping polish from Hit The Bottle.

This tutorial is just to show you a feature nail thats's subtle, but effective. I'm going to start a playlist of easy nail art tutorials that anyone can do, on my YouTube channel and try and get something up each week.

MoYou London Valentine's Plates

Valentine's Day is rapidly approaching and MoYou London recently bought out three new plates in their Festive Collection.  The three plates are obviously Valentine's plates and I have been lucky enough to secure two of them.

As usual, the designs are unique, beautiful and well etched.  While I don't often use the very small images, they come in really handy for people with shorter nails.  I have swatched plate 42 and I've added the video below.

Easy Elegant Bridal Nails

I spent the afternoon doing my nails and as they're longer than normal I like to do something subtle in the way of colour and nail art.

This is the idea I came up with so I decided to film a bridal nail art tutorial at the same time as I feel this would be perfect for some brides.

I do like to get a friend to do my refill but I always do the art myself.  I've used  gel polish as the base,  Magpie Beauty glitter and Uber Chic Beauty for the stamping plate.  I used Hit The Bottle polish for the stamping.  All of these links can be found in the description bar below the video.

Hey everyone,

I've got a new and super easy nail art tutorial up on my YouTube channel using Sharpies (Bic Markers) and Gel Two with a little Magpie Beauty Dust in Connie thrown in for good measure.  Of course I've also stamped and I've used the gorgeous Uber Chic Beauty stamping plate 6-03 from the brand new set.  I have a separate review for the entire set also up on my channel.

I realise a lot of you are in Autumn, but in Australia we're in Spring!

The Sharpie art is so easy and you can create so many looks with it.  You can use it with regular nail polish too!

Hey everyone,

Sarah and I celebrated our birthdays last month and we decided (better late than never) to do a Birthday Collab and we decided to do whatever we wanted.

We both ended up using the amazing new stamping plates from Yours Cosmetics, in collaboration with the lovely Sascha Gossen.  

I've also used a beautiful pigment called Connie, a Magpie Dust from Magpie Beauty, one of my favourite stampers from Fab Ur Nails which you can also purchase from Yours Cosmetics and a black stamping polish, As Black As Night, from Hit The Bottle.  I've done the design over a base of Soothing from Gel II.

I wanted a subtle background so the stamping really stood out and I love how they turned out.

Marble Stone Nails Using Alcohol Ink

Hey everyone,

I've had lots of requests for an updated video on the 'turquoise stone' nail art I did a while back.  People have been struggling with the polish in the water and the hairspray not breaking up the polish properly.

Soooo I've been experimenting with other ways to achieve the same look and I've found that you can create a similar look using alcohol inks.

I've been playing around with the alcohol inks for a few weeks and come up with some pretty cool nails.  You can use any coloured gels and any colour of alcohol inks depending on the look you are after.

I've done a video to show you how easy these nails are to create.

I bought this Pueen Fireworks Festival plate on a whim after seeing something on YouTube and I also got the Lace Blossom plate and I LOVE them both.

I've decided to do an in-depth review because so many stampers are having issues with the plate.

These beauties came in the mail a few days ago and I couldn't wait to try the plates out.

They are MAHOOOOSIVE plates and you really get great value for money with them and obviously a huge range of images to stamp with. 

They stamp perfectly and even the finest etched lace image that I've used in the video picked up perfectly and I am in love.
