Gel II Removal - NO BUFFING REQUIRED!

I decided to try something different with my Gel II removal when I took my product off this time as I've heard that some of you lovely ladies are having great success in removal with no buffing.

I typically have two colour coats, a stamping layer and I generally finish off with two top coats of the Xtreme Shine topcoat.  Unnecessary probably but I am still doing the same as I did with the previous product I used on my nails.

So I took some photos to see how I would go and I will follow this up with a full removal video next time I remove my Gel II.

I wrapped the nails using the Gel II Remover Wraps and I used pure acetone.  I then secured them with my proTIPCLIPS, just for extra pressure on the nail.

I then covered the nails with a warm wheat bag and set the timer for 10 minutes.  Now I did find that this was in fact too hot for my nails so I didn't leave the wheat bag on the entire time.  It was probably on for realistically around five minutes.

When I removed the wraps I was really pleased to see that the Gel II had lifted up nicely off the nails and I was able to go in give them a good rub with a plastic backed pad.

After the plastic backed pad I went in very gently with an orange wood stick and removed any excess product from the nail and finished off with another good rub with a plastic backed pad and the result was really great.  No damage or dryness to my nails at all and removal in 15 minutes (including wrapping and removing remaining product).

Even though it doesn't look like you will be able to remove it easily, and can look like it's still well adhered to the nail, don't be fooled!  If you follow these steps you will have the product off in no time and some gorgeous, strong nails when you've finished removal.
